KEY PEOPLE
Salim Khubchandani
Doctoral Student, Entrepreneur, Consultant and Mentor. With a keen desire to understand human mindsets, Salim is pursuing Doctoral studies to understand aspects of buying behaviour, with the help of consumer neuroscience tools.
Four decades of work experience across various marketing roles including setting up a CRM and digital marketing company he founded in Malaysia. Salim also mentors students for Marketing and Data Analytics. Early on in his career, he created and launched Taj InnerCircle, a chainwide Customer Affinity Program for Taj Group of Hotels, India. Salim blends academics and learning with marketing practice, in his consulting role as Insights Specialist, and is a member of the team working on Gen AI projects with a large global consulting firm.
Michael Quay
Demonstrated history of working in the marketing and advertising industry since over three decades, as Director of Brand Strategy with multinational agencies including JWT and M&C Saatchi, on a diverse portfolio of brands including Ford, DeBeers, HSBC, Celcom, Boh Tea, Honda, Alliance Bank, and several blue chip names.
As Managing Partner of his own creation The Refinery, has been instrumental in nurturing strategy and works alongside marketing and brand teams as well as senior management towards their brand vision and the powerful truth.
